Hi @Chriszanne,
The app heart rate display will lag behind a bit, while on the watch, it should be real-time.
What was the difference between the two readings?

Best Answer@Chriszanne mind that Fitbit devices are not medical equipment, but mere fitness trackers and accuracy of HR depends on so many factors that in case of a serious condition it may not only not give accurate data but may mislead doctors. Just to let you know, for me HR readings are extremely inaccurate (10-30bpm off comparing to chest strap which uses ECG ). I don't know, maybe it's my skin or something else. Didn't get it working. Some people claim the accuracy is spot on, others say opposite things. It just shows that reliability is not there when it comes to medical purposes. Optical HR measurement is tricky and requires special preconditions. If you use a pulse-oximeter, in the hospital environment a nurse will do several measurements using input from different fingers ( sometimes toes ) and the person must be still for a while ( it's not that I know it just like that, my wife is a nurse 😄 ).
