Heartrate sensor issue:

I am on holiday. I am switching off my Ionic every night to conserve battery power. Every morning I switch it on again, and everything seems to be working AOK. This morning, however, I noticed I cannot get the heartrate sensor to work:

  • The battery level is circa 65%
  • I have restarted the watch several times

... I just cannot get the heartrate feature to work.

Can anyone help at all?

i turn my watch off as i only use for activities, My ionic has often been off for 3-4 days and once for 3 weeks when abroad working. I have also experienced this issue but I dont think its a fault, sometimes going to the settings and turning heart monitor off and back on has cured it as has turn the watch off again and back on, ive tried a reset to no avail.  I would suggest if in settings, its already turned on and not working , cycle through off and back on a couple of times

MAke sure in your settings that it still has a check mark in it

Turning it off at night really doesn't conserve battery power. It could be why you are having this problem now as well

Settings where? On my watch, in settings, I do have the heart rate option set to 'on'.

it does conserve battery power. I use my charge 2 as a normal watch and my ionic only for running or cycling. Ive gone a month or more between charges with this type of use.
