How do I clear notifications?

 These notifications in my app never go away and the button at the top always has the red dot saying I have notifications.  Can’t swipe them away, can’t press and hold for them to clear, they are always there and it’s always these old ones. It’s the ones that say Nailed it! Or overachiever! Etc. my app is the neweat one, the beta I think. But it was this way before I updated as well.

I appreciate all the information that was shared in your post, sorry for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the notifications feature of your Ionic device. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your device following the next steps:

1. Press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
2. Let go of the buttons.
3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

I have done this. The notifications are still there in my app.

Thanks for your reply and update @MrsFitts, sorry for the delay in responding your post.

I appreciate the details that were shared and for restarting your device prior to posting. Please note that is intended that the notifications you receive in your Ionic device are still in the Messages app on your mobile device even though you already read them. That said, to better assist you with this, can you please send me a screenshot of your concern? You can refer to this post to do so.

The red dot in the upper corner and then when I click it it brings me to these notifications.
