How do you access all workouts from the watch?

There are 21 workouts but I can only load 7. I want to access more directly from the watch without removing one through the app. Anyone found a solution for this?

Hi @Catosr24,

Sorry, there isn't a solution to this. The Ionic will only hold 7 workouts at a time. How many different exercise modes would you use in a week?

It’s less about how many I use a week but in my overall life. I run, I hike, I go to the gym which involves strength training, treadmill running, yoga, I also play golf, bike ride and walk my dogs. That’s 8 with out considering the times I do interval training and swimming. I shouldn’t have to delete workouts and add them from the app. It’s very inconvenient and makes it a little pointless in the moment. I don’t want the to rely on an app which is why I purchased a smart fitness watch.

OK. I may do a max of 8 different modes per week. I sync it every day (which requires the app). It's not much of a bother to switch one exercise out. Also, my workouts are pretty strict in planning, so I know which modes I'll need on a given week.

Another idea is to manually log the activities beyond the 7 main ones. But that requires the app also, which I understand you're trying not to use.  You'll want to sync at least once a week to prevent data loss though.

Another idea is to not use the manual exercise modes for exercises that are automatically tracked, such as Walk and Run. The auto-detection on both of those is solid, and I would and do rely on them.

Unfortunately i disagree on the auto tracking. This AM did a 30 Mom dog walk and I got no response from the watch. It worked fine two days ago but is very buggy. Sometimes requires a restart.

I actually sync my watch daily and multiple times.

My point is simple. Not everyone is regimented in their lifestyle. And a company that made a “watch to make life easier” actually adds more steps by requiring a second interface to take full advantage of the workouts. I do not understand or see a reason all workouts are not easily accessible from the watch interface. You can have a preferred list for shortcuts but that’s not shortcut if it is not accessible from the same interface. It simply is not installed.
