How long will it take to fix the sync issue?

I'm a first time fitbit owner and bought the Ionic. I have been experiencing (like many others here) the android app freezing or not being able to sync with my phone. Does anyone care to guess as to how long it will take for this to be resolved based on previous model launches, or knowledge of this particular model? I have a BlackBerry KEYone and I do not get any message notifications either and would like to see that fixed.

I dont see that phone on the Compatible Devices List so that would explain your difficulties. You can check HERE

As to how long? No one is going to give you a realistic idea Im afraid. It is just wait and see.

Thanks for the replys. I'm running Android 7.1.1 (last updated Oct.05/17), fitbit version 27.25.16.7 and the latest fitbit Android app downloaded today. I do not have all day sync turned on, I do not have Wifi enabled on my phone. I rebooted my phone after the latest app install (today) and I also rebooted my Ionic just to make sure they were both fresh at the first pairing. It still timed out prior to syncing. Moving through the app is as slow as molasses. I do see that the app begins to use the phone to upload information to fitbit as soon as it opens and I'm guessing that probably has something to do with the slow response and the Ionic/phone sync issue. I still have hopes that this is going to be a stellar product, but fitbit should have had these issues ironed out prior to launch.

As per link confirm about "always connected".

All day sync has been turned off as well as always connected. I read your post in the link two days ago and followed your advice.
