How to update firmware version

I just bought my ionic and it doesn’t have the latest firmware as far as I can tell but there is not option update it? The newest firmware features are not available to me but it says it’s up to date? So do I just have to wait for the update to push through or what?

Yes, updates get rolled out in waves so as not to overwhelm the servers and also to catch any potential bugs before everyone gets them.
