I have notice that the screen is slightly raised from the outer face. Therefore there is absolutely no protection, it is completely exposed causing very easy damage. Wouldn’t this warrant a faulty item? Not only did I scratch it the third day I wore it, another mark has been added. I’m am very disappointed with the product and would not recommend Fitbit to anyone considering the screen is raised. It’s a sports watch, designed to we worn for active people. I don’t believe it’s fit the brief.

Sorry to hear that, @cyn_d11. I have had my Ionic since October, and do not yet have any scratches on it, and it does see a lot of activity. But, there has been a lot of discussion on this Forum about using a screen protector for this reason, such as these posts:

I just checked my watch, but i can not feel any raised screen.
Mine is flat as the bezel of the watch.
Also i have the watch since december and i somehow know to hit the doorposts and other things at least 3 times a week, and still have not any scratches on it.
Contact support and send them a picture of the raised screen and ask if that is normal, because it sounds abnormal.
