Hello all. 

I recently bought the Ionic and love it. However  there is a noticeable shortage of UK apps. It would be good to see BBC news for example.

 

Is there any plans for more UK based apps in the near future.?

I would guess that for an official app it would be up to the BBC etc to support the device.  Although there may be nothing stopping homebrew apps doing something similar.

 

I am not sure what British specific apps might be worthwhile though - maybe travel updates (London Underground, Metrolink etc?).  Shops for loyalty schemes maybe?

 

To be honets, I'd love to see some support for British banks on fitbit pay as a priority.

I agree. It just seems that most apps are for the US. 
In terms of BBC, FB etc it would be nice to see them on board. 
The only news app at the moment is NY Times which only does US news on  the app. 
As for pay we have one small bank that accepts pay with ionic
