IOS native mail app notifications

I know this has been discussed previously but I couldn't find a resolution.  I'm unable to get the built in IOS mail app to send notifications through to the Ionic.  In the Fitbit app settings it lists Calls / Text Messages / Calendar Events (all of which work perfectly).  Then in App Notifications, anything I've selected there comes through to the Ionic.

 

The problem is that the native IOS Mail app doesn't appear in any list to select and therefore no notifications bet passed to the Ionic.

 

Is there any plans to add this?  Seems like a strange thing to miss off intentionally?

I have the same problem/question.

 

One additional information: I already configured mail on iOS to show notifications. When I receive an email, I get a message on the home screen. And in the Fitbit-App in the settings for App Notifications, I see "Mail" and I selected it. But I get no notifications on my Ionic! 😞

Ah,  My notification settings were already on for Mail on the iPhone, but I turned them off and back on again and now it works.

 

Maybe worth a try.
