Sounds very flaky and may be going downhill.
So would def call Tech Support right away. Do all their troubleshooting protocols. If still not working properly they normally will offer you a replacement device. Many have followed my advice and received replacements. Number is linked below. Let me know you make out.

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic
