Hello
I've owned a charge HR, Serge, and now ionic and none of them have caused me problems until this Ionic. I've followed all the steps to fix and it works but only temporary. It is ridiculous. I must have a defect. The problems are notifications and the wrist flip wake-up. I really feel Fitbit has dropped in performance quality since this Ionic.
Unless, I truly have a bad one

I've done that but not turned off notifications. It mainly happens when I'm wearing weights as gloves during my workout. It will turn off or pause my workout.
Thanks for the quick response.

@Adrianne77 Before you give up completely, let me make you aware of a quirk I have found. When you swipe to the right on the screen, you get to the page where you can control the screen wake and notifications. I find that the swiping the screen is VERY responsive. Some users have noticed screen swipes from shirt sleeves. I have turned notifications off by accident. The screen is so responsive, I managed to swipe, touch twice and start a walk in my sleep! Is it possible this is what is happening to you?

yea, screen is sensitive allright
i have notifications enabled (from phone) for calls & messages, but i only get call notifications, none from messages....
what some support guys suggested was to create a PIN code, this way the screen won't activate by itself or manually by mistake...it's kind of a workaround for a proper "screen lock" 🙂

Thanks for the quick reply. I've tried a pin and it still had a problem.

it's one thing for the screen to just "turn on" and display the PIN code dialpad
another thing (more potentially "disruptive") is to turn on and start scrolling/pressing/selecting stuff by mistake....
i guess for now a combination of screen wake to "manual" and setting up a PIN code is the best we can do
and i figured out why i don't get messages notifications: on the phone they need to be displayed on lockscreen and as badges. On mine they weren't, only show badge icon and sound.
