Inaccurate distance tracking

My ionic is giving incorrect distance tracking. Last night i ran what my ionic tracked as 4 km out and back the exact same route 4km. However the time taken was not what i would normally run. When i clocked it on my car it was 5.4km each way. Thats quite an error. Why??

Hi,

I ran with the watch using the Gps ON. Which i located in setting so thats not the issue ☹. Will give it a go again today.
