Hey guys,
Just wondering if anybody has experienced something similar to this:
I was doing my weights workout this morning, I was wearing my Ionic in the same fashion I do whenever doing weights (which had always worked well), yet the reading I was getting for my heart rate was ~65bpm almost all the way through.
Normally when I am doing weights my bpm's would be somewhere between 120 and 150.
Yes, my watch was clean and yes I still took it off and cleaned the sensor on the back of the watch again. It didn't help.
Anybody has any insight on this? Thanks.

Hi,
maybe ot depands on the low sampling rate of the heart rate sensor.
It's to slow for fast activities.
Maybe you can get an explanation from Fitbit!

Welcome to the club: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/Ionic-Heart-Rate-Accuracy/m-p/2333722#M17782
With that said, wearing the ionic snug and higher up on my arm has definitely improved the heart rate reading for me. I no longer get spikes over 200bpm (when I manually measure around 110). The 2.0 software update may have also helped as that came out around the same time.
