Indian food database link with 3rd party apps

Currently food database does not provide many Indian options , there are third party apps which have the Indian database and require access to fit bit account by providing the Fitbit credentials  and they would get the readings and get us hooked to that app, I am bit hesitant in doing that , is there reverse option where from Fitbit app we can access the food database of another app.?

I think it will work but have you tried setting the food to Indian database? You can also add it manually.

Yes , it's been set to Indian , but the options are very minimal. Adding manually won't be an easy task .

I use myfitnesspal for food logging, their database is huge. You would need to link your fitbit and myfitnesspal accounts together to get the most from the service, you can revoke access at any time.
