This is more so feedback than it is a question, but I am having issues with the interval timer.
1) The settings can not be updated on the watch. Slightly disappointed as this is one of the key features I was looking forward to. The fact that every other exercise type (including the alarm clock..) has easy to customize settings is surprising.
2) When I do want to update the settings through my phone, the only options are for units of time. The watch has a built in GPS so the inability to set distance intervals is even more disappointing.

@mtiller03 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for the feedback provided, those are actually great suggestions for addition to the interval timer on Ionic.
I was checking the Feature Suggestions Board and was able to find the following ideas:
These two ideas reflect what you are asking for in a similar way. I recommend adding your vote to those ideas and leaving a comment too. The more votes the better.
If these ideas don't reflect exactly what you are asking for, please search for other existent suggestions or create an original one.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

Hi, I've also got some suggestions for improvements to the interval timer. At the moment, because there is just one counter, the only way you know if you are on a motion setting vs a rest period is if the counting number is even or odd. While I'm happy with using it, it would be great if the rest/motion parts counted down as each, so the screen looked more like the Gymboss Interval Trainer - so if you had a 10 second rest and 50 second motion setting both counted down individually.

@wigs Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to post the suggestions you have for the interval timer on your Fitbit watch.
You can post that as a comment on the ideas I shared above or create a new suggestion asking for this specifically.
However, before you create a new suggestion, please check this idea I found that is similar to yours:
If that idea is not really asking for what you want; please do create a new suggestion.
Keep me posted!
