Hi
A few months ago I decided to upgrade from a Fitbit Blaze to the new Ionic Adidas Edition watch. I have to say, I'm not overly impressed with it's battery life compared to the Blaze. The reason behind me getting this is all the features that comes with it, yet although I have had this a few months I still haven't had the opportunity to use the features yet (New Year 2019 resolution!). Now I can confirm that I have nothing set up which could gobble up the battery life but it does drain quickly since being charged overnight, disconnected to come to work and it already lost 4%.
Any advice please??
Thanks

Hi there, I purchased my fitbit ionic adidas 7 days ago where I charged it while it did it software update ( took forever!) when it was all done I waited till the watch was charged before using it, well like I said 7 days ago, as 7 days on from then I have put it on charge and it said 13% I can't complain at that! I have used it alot in those 7 days from walking to boxing... I'm impressed

@Ossie1969 Thanks for the update.
On this thread we are talking about battery issues and you mentioned the battery of your Ionic was doing fine. I noticed on another thread, an advocate created a case with Customer Support to evaluate the issue you are experiencing with your wristband. I'm pretty sure you will receive a response soon.

Hi
Sorry for the long delay, I have tried many things. I even thought the "all day sync" was the problem but even with this disabled, the battery seems to be a lot worse! Had on charged yesterday, unplugged at 100%, within about 30 minutes it was reading 86%. My previous fitbit "Blaze" had a better battery life than this. Although i do love the style of this model but not being able to use any of the fancy features this Ionic can offer due to the battery constantly draining very quickly, disappointed.

My ionic Adidas is also not holding its charge. I bought it about 3 months ago and lately it does after just one day!

Well, after receiving a replacement it's been fine. I literally used it just for checking the times and alarms. Couple of times used the running feature on my jogs but that was it. I didn't trust using or installing any apps on it, they only thing I changed was the default clock face to Blue from Red.
Updated it today as there were an update for the ionic, now the **ahem** thing does not power on, even when plugged in for a while. Great, I really do not have any faith in Fitbits anymore as this is my third one.
With hard of hearing I rely on alarms to wake me up in the mornings, now I have a dead Fitbit. Thanks!

@Jarbinator Thank you for your response.
I'm very sorry to hear that your replacement Fitbit Ionic is no longer working.
I would recommend performing a factory reset by following the next steps but keep in mind that your apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards, and saved settings will be deleted from the watch:
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

I have had a adidious Fitbit watch we paid $300.00 for at Best Buy just over a year ago. The battery is completely dead and will not charge. The last month of life it was going dead in less than 12 hours. Fitbit has no service to fix it and offers me a 25% discount against a new one. I can buy an Ionic on eBay with a one year replacement warranty for $116.00. Why would I pay almost twice that after their discount offer when all I want is a battery to fix mine.
I'm 72 on Social Security and have a pacemaker I need to keep track of. Really sad Fitbit.

Hi All. I ended up in this thread after I've experienced the same problem. Mine appears to b free more drastic. Approximately 2 weeks, I noticed that my Adidas model was off and not turning on. I was confused as I had it charged overnight. So I pressed the factory reset combo and the battery life showed 0%. No big deal I thought because at the same time the latest update came out and I thought it had something to do with it. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My watch is updated but it doesn't hold charge.. Less than 12 hours and the battery is dead. Any suggestions?

Thank you for letting us know about the problem you are experiencing with your Fitbit Ionic and for trying to get it resolved before contacting us.
If you're using a 3rd party clock face, please switch to a Fitbit clock face for troubleshooting purposes. In addition, restart your device and charge it to 100%. Once charged, use it like normal until it drains completely.
