Hi All,
Like a lot of you I'm eagerly awaiting the release of the Ionic, but have also heard about this Adidas edition.
Does se anyone know when this could be released? Are there any differences between this version and the normal Ionic?
Thanks

I googled it and just came up with an Adidas Watch. Which has nothing to do with Fitbit.
Do you have an article to share?

One of the better articles I've read about it.
not sure how reliable any of the info is. Even info from Fitbit is slim to none.
Best AnswerWhile looking thru YouTube..I swear i saw a Watch face that had the adidas symbol that looked like it was used to represent your stats. I'm assuming it's going to be similar to how the Nike Apple Watch is. A certien band and Watch face only available to the adidas branded Watch. Nothing all that crazy different

Best AnswerI wasn't aware there would be an Adidas branded version. That would explain why Adidas All-Day will work with it almost right off the bat.. I had thought that was odd as it's a relatively new app (I got an invite last week (or the week before) about it). And so far I'm not really using it as it doesn't link up to any other of the apps I use. If it's like other things, it could be a different band/strap, exclusive watch face.. etc but most of the core aspects are the same (on other branded items I've seen). They just include a little something that makes them 'Adidas' (in this case) branded.

@SunsetRunner @WendyB @SunsetRunner @Bunnybear_05 @ValerieAnne The Fitbit Ionic special edition Adidas device will be available globally in 2018. We will announce further details and pricing with availability next year.
As far as i am aware the adidas Ionic is nothing to do with the Fitbit Ionic. I googled it and it seems to be a braided wristband, but is not a fitness tracker.

Best AnswerThis was talked about on here a couple pages back.
The colors, likely a " special edition watch face only available on the adidas version. And I thought I saw something about a workout app for it. I could be wrong there.
I read that it's not due out till later 2018
Fitbit is teaming up with Adidas to release a branded version of the Ionic. Details are a bit thin at the moment, other than it'll be released sometime in 2018. Obvious similarities with Apple and Nike tie in. There might be Adidas branded UI, again like Apple/Nike and the perforated strap runs true to the same.
Rumour has it the special edition will, “leverage Adidas’ robust performance program expertise,” which suggests customized versions of the on-board personal training.
Ahh, thanks for that info! I missed seeing that bit.

Best AnswerI've got Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket....Adidas edition....before say...mothers day? SuperBowl? How long will i be waiting.....
I agree. I have been waiting for the adidas edition too. They just keep saying 2018- I can't believe they still don't have an estimated date for this. It is still happening, right?
looks like march 18th is the start of shipping out pre-orders for this watch. I just got a regular Iconic, so i'm stl curious to know what the difference is between it and the new one.

Per Google, the "Official Release Date" for the Ionic Adidas version is March 19th. Per Fitbit's pre order page, all pre orders will be shipping in March. I suspect we will start seeing people's pre orders go out either late this week or early next week. I have been eagerly awaiting this to drop and am looking forward to finally receiving it.
Hope this helps folks and keep on STEPPING!
