Ionic Alarm doesn't work, resetting Ionic doesn't work

I've tried solutions found in these forums, but nothing works.  I have alarms set for the same time every weekday.  The alarm might go off on Monday, but then not go off on Tuesday or Wednesday.  Then it goes off again on Thursday.  (These days are just an example of how inconsistent the Ionic's alarms can be).  If there is any solution other than reset the Ionic, I would love to hear it.  Resetting does not work for me.  If the alarm does properly go off after resetting, it will only be another day or two that the alarm reverts to not working correctly.  Needless to say, it is quite frustrating to never know from one day to the next if I will be able to trust that my Ionic's alarm will go off.  Please help!

I don’t think there is any other option.Manual reset usually works but in some cases you have to factory reset.I would talk to Fitbit support about this issue.

@JWeidner17 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with the alarms on Ionic. Also, thanks for performing the restart process. This usually fixes this kind of things.

Something else you can try is deleting all the alarms, syncing Ionic to make changes effective, and then setting them up once again (sync Ionic afterwards to make changes effective). This could help if the alarms are not going off. You can do this from the Alarms App on your Ionic.

Also, just as @supersmart01234 said, the vibration may be a little weak. I'd recommend going to your Ionic's "Settings" App (gear icon); and changing the "Vibrations" option to "Strong" instead of "Normal". This could also help you out with this.

Try this out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

One other thing to consider, as it appears to be inconsistent, is ensure that your Device Lock is not activated. There have been several instances (myself included) where if the Ionic is locked the alarms won't work. A suggestion had been made to correct this "feature", especially as the Ionic can lock itself at odd times.

I've had this issue and it's so annoying.

I've been late for work 3 times.

I just can't believe that the password overides the alarm feature.

I've cancelled using the alarm ( which is almost my favourite feature) and gone back to using my phone alarm until I see an update that fixes this ridiculous set up
