Hi,
Is anyone having issues with the alarm on the Ionic?
I've recently upgraded from a Charge 2 to a Ionic, where i had no issues with the vibration alarm waking me up. Since using the ionic, i've missed a few alarms! which is frustrating.
i have set the vibration to strong, but this still seems too weak!?
Is any one else experiencing this?
Cheers
RobM
Best Answer@rob.murrayuk I’m sure that if you did a search of this forum you’d find more than a couple of threads on the subject, as no, this is not a new complaint. If you look in the Suggestions section you may even find a few threads requesting an improvement.
Best AnswerHi, Cheers i'll give it a go, and see what i can find. thanks again.
Best AnswerStrange! I have upgraded from Charge 2 to Ionic because of the weak vibration on the Charge 2.
Best AnswerMorning, I've just sat and watched it (No pun intended!). its really weak and only last for a few buzzes. If its tighter on the wrist then i can feel it more..
it needs to be more powerful and last longer before it goes to snooze..
Best AnswerOn ionic vibration is very very weak and same on normal or strong state.
Have to wear my old HR for alarms !
Have tried all setting and resetting method without any success.
Help !
Best AnswerFor what is meant to be their premium sports watch, it is disappointing, i've given my Charge 2 to my son so i might have to revert back to using my iPhone, (which i haven't used as an alarm for the past 3 years)..
Again to reiterate the point - Disappointing....
Best AnswerWhy don't you try to set 2 alarms, a minute apart from one another? That's what I did with my Charge 2 and worked for me.
Best AnswerThats a really good idea, i'll give it a go.. Thanks
Best AnswerI find the alarm excellent, although I hardly ever use one. Really only ever set one if I need to wake up before 6am.
Now I can't stand being woken up by an audio alarm.
Mine is is set to normal, if I set strong it feels as though my hand will fall off!

Best AnswerUnfortunately @Mizne there is little that can be done at the moment. The alarm vibration is about as effective as an ant kicking the inside of a steel barrel. Hopefully Fitbit can and will do something about it, as many have noted its weakness, but I’m not holding my breath. I have a suspicion it’s hardware related.
