So, I've had my ionic for 3 days. it updated, kind of worked for a couple of days, then this morning it stopped syncing/sending notifications/ etc. So i've tried to factory reset it.... and now i am in an endless boot loop that shows the fitbit logo on the screen for about 6 seconds then goes black for about 3 seconds and repeats infinitely.
I've tried the hard reset method (press all buttons and then release the one) 3 times now, and i've gotten it to the vibrating part. but that has not resolved this issue.
Am i screwed and do i just need to return this watch?

My Ionic is doing the same thing. I'm going to let it run out of battery power then plug it back in and try a new reboot. Have you heard anything from fitbit? josh

Yeah, since I got it 3 days ago, I am still well within the warranty period, and they are sending a replacement. Let me know if the battery thing works!
