Ionic Charging issue after a reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So this happened last week: I was out doing some running around when I get a notice on my phone "Congrats! You met your step goal!" which was odd sense I know I hadn't done 10,000 steps already this early in the morning. Looking at my Ionic, while standing still mind you, showed a constant up tick in steps and that I had some how gone up 27 flights of stairs without actually doing that.

So I was a little frustrated with it.

After doing some research and trying a shut down and a couple other things I resorted to a factory reset and decided to just update it back from there.

The First issue was that my Data didn't Sync, try again. The next issue is once it got to the screen to set up the Ionic the app keeps telling me that my Ionic battery is to low, charge it or put it on a charge cable.

I ended up charging it for 2 days, on a couple different outlets just to make sure and it still is telling me that my charge is to low to set up even when I leave it on the cable.

Clean the contacts on the charger and the ionic with an alcohol wipe and restart the Ionic a couple of times. If it is still not charging try another factory reset usingnthe buttons and if it still wont work you will need to contact Support (link in my signature)

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.
