Ionic Coundown Timer

I am a sports official who uses my Ionic's countdown timer during sporting events.  When the coundown hits "0:00:00" the timer resets to the number of minutes that I counting for.  Then, after a minute or so, the face switches to the main face with the regular clock.  This creates an inconvenience as I need constant view access to the countdown and don't have time to be swiping through screens  back to the timer.  Fitbit tech support is able to recreate this.  I would like to see Fitbit either develop an option to stay on the timer until intervention of the user, or rewrite the software to stay on the counter.

I agree that this is not how it should work.  Tech support recommended posting on the Fitbit Community so that the developers would see it and possibly fix it.  Ironically when I first got my Ionic, it worked correctly so maybe one of the recent updates had this flaw in it.  Hope development fixes it.

I really don't think that's the way it's supposed to work.

After mine hits 0:00 I have the option to tap on the check mark (Lower right) or tap on the stopwatch (Upper right) and it stays on that screen for a while.

If I don't do anything for about a minute, it will go back to the countdown with the amount of seconds/minutes I was counting down. At no point mine goes to the clock face on its own even if I'm just inside the "Timers" App without really doing anything.

This definitely sounds like a bug and it's weird that tech support was able to replicate it. Nevertheless, I hope it gets fixed soon because it can be very annoying when the most basic (and sometimes, for many of us, the most important) features just don't work how they're supposed to.

this still isnt fixed or has been reverted back to previous firmware update. I use the timer religiously everyday for work. and after a minute it goes back to homescreen. it's HIGHLY annoying and I want to fking bin it because of fitbit not even giving option of staying on app without closing it if not being used for 1 minute.........
