Ionic Died. It wasn't syncing my steps for a few days, then just quits working altogether in the middle of the day. I thought maybe it wasnt charged, so tried charging for hours on different chargers, but not getting anything. Doesn't come on at all. This was my 3d and most expensive fitbit. The others didnt stop working I just upgraded for more features each time. Warranty on Ionic is only 1 year according to website. Only had it about 16 months. $250 piece of junk with several additional bands, their weight scale and multiple chargers I purchased. They are all junk now. Guess I'll go with Apple Watch. Received my Apple Watch yesterday and committed to never buy another Fitbit product because they refuse to make me whole after selling a defective product.

Hi, My husband and I both have had the same experience. We both got our Fitbit Ionics in January 2018. After less than 1 1/2 years, they both died. We followed the instructions on how to reset and nothing. I contacted Fitbit customer service and since they are over 1 year old, they are no longer supported despite the fact that there is a battery defect. We were given discounts to buy new Fitbits. I started researching other smartwatches -- a Fitbit watch will not be considered.
