Ionic Exercise Calorie Count?

I'm a fairly active mid 40's kinda guy....pretty heavy (approx. 215lbs). I am back cycling to work in order to address my fitness levels, and this morning my Ionic has recorded my workout as follow:

Distance: 18.52km

Time: 55:16 min

Speed: 20.1kph

Peak HR: 43 min

Cardio HR: 11 min

Fat Burn HR: 2 min

Average BPM: 157

Calories Burnt: 883

I find it extremely unlikely that I burnt over 880 cals in less than an hour. Surely this cannot be correct?

Does anyone else find the calories burnt figure a little inflated?

@SunsetRunner, the calculated calorie burn might be a little high, but probably not by too much.  Considering you were in the Peak heart rate for nearly 80% of the ride, with an average heart rate of 157, you were burning a lot of calories.  The max heart rate for a person in the mid-40's is 175, and you had an average of 157, meaning that it was near max some of the time.  As your fitness level increases, your average heart rate will decrease, and your calorie burn will decrease.
