Very odd..I did some troubleshooting on my wife's device where it would not sync with her Iphone.
Resolved via support by turning off bluetooth ,restartingI phone , setting up the Fitbit again etc etc.
The original problem was that the Fitbit did not see the Iphone. " Searching" etc.
It seemed only when I turned off bluetooth on MY Iphone and MacBook and then went rpeated the setup and restarts did it work again.
I cant believe having Bluetooth on 2 other devices caused the initial issue. All devices have been in the same room for 6 months without issue. ( It did occr once bef).
Thoughts?
thanks
Bob

I started having problems with my Ionic not syncing yesterday, as well. I have done all the updates and restarts, too. I am interested in seeing the replies to your post.

Discovery modes are designed to use and reuse channels, each time you leave range (about 20-24ft) battle can begin anew. Even in my household, bluetooth headsets, bluetooth earbuds, bluetooth phones and of course laptops and computers. The devices are letting them all know they are here, best way to "clear the air" is to only have the mobiles and laptops poll for devices when you want to connect by turning discovery feature off - the last couple of years has made it a bit more difficult to do that though as the "instant connect" convenience has become a desired feature, a challenge to find that "off" switch these days. You found the best universal cure @Nysparty, forget and rediscover, fresh communication for those times you leave range and come back to find the channel occupied or shared.
Dry, but thorough.

Seems the trouble with mine is not so much the bluetooth, but rather the wifi. Bluetooth is connected, but it won't connect to the router. I will start a new post as not to hijack @Nysparty's post.

Not a hijack, good point @RustyBrindle
Wifi is even trickier, I always opt for the bluetooth choice when my Ionic offers it for downloads, slower and longer; but more consistent. I'm in the center of a downtown neighborhood, a lot of competition for broadcast, bluetooth has a shorter range allowing me to compete with just a few neighbors instead of a block.
