Hey,
I have just ordered a replacement Ionic as my current one has broken, like a week before the one year warranty is up. Will there be another one year warranty on the replacement? I'm just worried that if it breaks again I will be screwed as it's so expensive. I'm wondering if I should sell the replacement and then buy a new Fitbit just to get a warranty. If I do sell it, should I get another Ionic or go with the Versa? I heard Ionic's are known to break more?

The warantee period is the time covered by your original purchase. As you have a week to run of your original waranty the new Ionic wil, only be covered for a week.
I have both an Ionic and a Versa and have had no trouble with either. For all the Ionics amd Versas sold the major problems are very few.
HERE is the Waranty

Welcome on board @DJLulu, it's nice to see a new member around! When a tracker suffers damage while under warranty, you can contact Customer Support. Discounts and replacements depend on tracker model and other factors.
Additionally to this, I'd like to add that the warranty in most of the regions is only for 365 days. (In Europe due to the law, is extended for 2 years). This means that your tracker will be covered for a full year and during this period of time you can receive any replacement in case of a defect. But this warranty does not apply to that new tracker extending the time. The period of warranty would be only applicable on your original purchase until the 365 days have expired.
Also, if you received a replacement within the warranty (365 days) it does not mean it won't be valid after this. So, if your tracker fails again and your tracker is still between the time of the original warranty, you might be eligible for a replacement based on the resolution of our Support Team, this applies until the stipulated time of the warranty had expired.
I agree with @NellyG, I have had the chance to use both, the Versa and the Ionic and I'm so happy with them.
The algorithms used in both devices are the same, so you should see no more than a standard 4% variation between the two. It's possible to get different readings if the trackers are worn in different locations (dominant vs non-dominant wrist). We recommend reviewing the accuracy information provided on our help site at help.fitbit.com. Also, I recommend checking out our comparison page at https://www.fitbit.com/compare, where you can see at a glance the features that each tracker provides.
If there's something else you'd like me to assist you with, let me know.
