Ionic GPS Issues

I got a FitBit Ionic a couple of months ago and all was fine, worked like a dream tracked all the walking I have done with my dogs perfectly. Syncs were perfect open the app and a minute later all up to date. Now I have noticed the GPS.... it's only showing a couple of my walks tracked via GPS. I purchased a bike at the weekend trying to join in challenges with friends. Today lockdown ended went out on the bike for over 2 hours and all it shows is my time! Yes, I started the exercise app before leaving home! Followed instructions on various pages turning off devices, re-connecting, factory resets etc and still nothing. Please can anyone advice or help me with this? What do I do next?

@Bagot69 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share what you're experiencing with your Ionic.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I would like you to confirm you've checked the following:

- Make sure that your Ionic is charged to at least 80%

- Make sure that you have a clear view of the sky when you start the exercise. Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover, can interfere with your device’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're indoors, underground, or due to another reason—GPS won't work.

- Avoid trying to start an exercise with GPS several times in a row, which can prevent your device from connecting to GPS.

Let me know the outcome.
