Ionic GPS shows wrong route in app

I've gone on several walks and hikes with my Ionic using the GPS, and when I go into the app and look at the route, it initially shows me the wrong route until I click into it.  Only then does the correct route appear.  Very annoying!  Anyone else experience this?

@CritterGirlUP, I have not experienced that at all.  I have done 4 walks with the Ionic using the GPS, and each time when I sync the tracker to the app it immediately shows the route I walked.  I wonder if that is a data refresh or download speed with your phone?

CritterGirlUP I can not get the GPS map route to show up at all in the exercise log. I use the watch to start a walk/run with GPS connected and it doesn't show up in the log. How are you tracking the walk/run? is there something else in the phone app that needs to be on??
Thanks  Raygold

I would chat with Fitbit about this. My routes show up in the app in the exercise area as soon as I sync the Ionic. I am using an iPad 4 mini not a phone.  Don’t know if that makes a difference?

May have to call Tech support. I believe the GPS is working on the Ionic cause when I start a bike exercise with GPS it will show the speed on the watch. start bike exercise without GPS and the speed is 0.0 max speed is 0.0, but still doesn't log the info or mapped routes.

Ive seen this exact same thing.  Usually it would show the gps map from some totally unrelated run.

Sorry, never did find a solution for it though.  Saw it with my Blaze too, I think it’s an app issue more than an Ionic issue.
