Ionic Heart Rate Icon Blinking/Flashing All Day

Hey fellow Ionic owners. The heart icon on my Ionic has been blinking/flashing all day. I am not sure if it was like this before. My resting BPM had been decreasing recently due to more fitness activities but I didn't expwexperi this in the past when I decreased my resting BPM. Right now my resting rate is ~55. Should I be concerned?

Im not 100% sure what is blinking constantly? Do you mean the heart icon in the today app (when you scroll up from the home screen)? If so, that blinks in time with your heart beat.

It is normal for your resting heart rate to go down as you get fitter. What was yours originally? My resting rate is 50 today but it is often as low as 47, so 55 is not too low unless you are feeling faint or dizzy or if it has changed a large amount in a short time. If that is the case then see your doctor.

Yes, I was referring to the heart icon on the Today app. It looks like everything is working normally. Thank you for your response 🙂
