Ok Fitbit, what is going on? Notifications are very unreliable lately. Apple IPhone 8 Plus/Ionic and I have fully reset and repaired my Fitbit Ionic already, still only 50% of the notifications seem to come through.. Is this Apple sabotaging the Fitbit device? Should I get an Apple Watch?
Also, when is there ever going to be a clock face that has weather and temperature that actually keeps updating? Now the updates are unreliable to simply not happening 😟

@mdofb Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share the experience you are currently having with notifications on your Ionic. Thanks for trying those steps in order to sort this out.
In this case, I'd recommend trying all of the steps shown on this helpful article. Try them in the order given for best results.
Regarding your clock face and weather, check if the one you are using is not using a third party weather app. If that is the case, you could try contacting the developer of the clock face.
Keep me posted!

So, this solution seemed to help for a bit.. But now the notifications on my Ionic are only sporadically coming in. Just before I go out and get a Apple Watch, I would like to know, is this Apple sabotaging the Fitbit notifications or is it something else?

Hi, I am experiencing the exact same problem. I believe I stumbled onto the solution after unsuccessfully trying all the recommended troubleshooting steps on this website. What I did was clear all the notifications on the Fitbit ionic. I did this by pulling down the notifications it did log and I scrolled to the top. At the beginning of the notifications shade you will see a menu option to "Clear All". Click that and it will remove all logged notifications on the Fitbit ionic. Afterwards when new notifications come in it will register and notify you accordingly. Not sure why this works, but I believe it is a bug in the firmware. Perhaps it is a memory leak and is unable to accept any new input for notifications. Before I discovered the solution I went as far as resetting the device to factory defaults and reloading the firmware back onto the device. This of course did not resolve this problem, but clearing the notifications on the ionic device will. Thank you.
