I have purchased multiple fit bits with the Iconic being the most recent. All of my fit bits have died and the ones that died prior to a year have been replaced, only to die again within a year. I purchased an iconic Dec 2017 hoping that a more expensive and newer model would have solved whatever issue was occurring. After a few months, that died and fit bit replaced it. Now right after the year was up with the replacement, my fit bit has totally died. I was offered a "discount" to purchase a new one but have no desire to sink any more money into fit bit if all we do is have to but a new one after a year or so. I am told that they last for years but in my view, that has never happened. Fit bit is going to lose customers if their watches can't last more than a year or so.
