Ionic Incorrect distance and pace

My distance and pace seem to be way off after the last update.  I was running with a friend today who also has an Ionic.  Mine reported us running at 11'40 pace and hers said 8'45.  We run this route often and are always around 8-9 for pace.  The distance is 3.34 miles exactly, yet when I finished the run it said I ran 2.78 miles.  Please advise on how to remedy this issure!

I've also had this for a while now. I have used the fitbit ionic and strava on my phone to track my runs - fitbit tracks consistently less distance. I have used several online mapping tools and they all agree with the numbers on strava - what is the reason for this?
