I just got my ionic two days ago and it only syncs about once a day despite repeated manual syncing attempts. I have followed all posted trouble shoot ideas, including uninstalling the app, closing Bluetooth, and reinstalling the app and my ionic. Even when the phone syncs it never shows how many steps I have taken on the app on my phone or track my sleep. I have a Google Pixel XL2 phone, any fixes?

Hi and welcome to the WONDERFUL world of the Fitbit Ionic!!! 

 

This is apparently normal for the Ionic to act this way. 

 

But........... Try turning your phone off, then turn it back on again.

If that doesn't work, try turning your Bluetooth off then back on again.

If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the app, then guess what.... reinstall it.

If that doesn't work, find the closest sludge hammer and hit away!!!
