Ionic Not Getting Texts

So, I know there are tons of threads on this but here’s where my situation is puzzling. My Ionic gets notifications for everything except texts. It shows when I get calls, it shows my selected app notifications like Instagram and Facebook. But I’ve tried everything and can’t get it to show when I get texts. I updated the app, my phone, factory reset it, reinstalled the app, checked all the notification settings. It’s all good and obviously synced to my phone because it shows my calls. Just not texts. What’s up?

@Kayla_Augusta Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the detailed information shared and the troubleshooting tried. 

I appreciate that you mentioned you're receiving all the other notifications except text messages. I would like you to confirm you have "Show Preview" option set by doing the following: 

• Allow Notifications—On
• Alerts > Notification Center—On
• Show Previews—Always or When Unlocked

I am having the same issue of getting all notifications except for texts. I did everything the first customer said and what you suggested and I’m still not getting texts. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I would like you to let me know if you're still experiencing difficulties with the text notifications.

In the meantime, please confirm you've done this procedure to set notifications.
