Neither “solution” is a solution (it’s just more people with the problem).
Please look into this one, I now have a watch that doesn’t tell time reliably (and if it can’t do that it’s hard to trust other metrics).
I reset my watch 3-4 times a day now.

Not a solution. This is a big problem, someone address it.

@Rsw918 when was the last time your Charge HR synced. The time should have been updated then. I would not expect a restart to change the time.

I should clarify as my symptoms are the same, but I have an iconic.probably a different problem.
loses sync and clock slows as mentioned until I reset ever since the last update.

Yes @Rsw918 the solution is the same. Open the app or go to the computer and sync your tracker.

That syncs the time, but it loses sync in a couple of hours. I mentioned before, I have to reset the tracker to get it to sync and it's good for 2 hours or so, then I have to reset and get it to sync.
Ever since the last firmware update (about a week ago?)

@Rsw918 Welcome to the Fitbit family! I moved your post to the Ionic Board as there are more chances for you to receive an answer to your inquiry here.
Thanks for performing a restart to sort the syncing situation you are experiencing.
There are a couple more thing you can try to sync your Ionic and maintain its connectivity:
Try that out, if that doesn't work, you could try @Rich_Laue's suggestion, or you can let me know and I'll contact them for you.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

I have performed all of the suggested troubleshooting steps (which are very basic).
I have also reset the tracker to factory settings and re-added it.
Same issue:
1. 3-4 times a day my Iconic "falls behind" in time
2. When this happens, the Iconic also will not sync
3. Resetting the tracker normally fixes the issue (not always)
4. This happens when the tracker is "home" and should be connecting to Wifi as well.
Please post the process for returning the tracker. I suspect a hardware issue or just a bad OS.

I have been having this same issue for the past week or two. I have tried all of the above suggested troubleshooting tips.
The watch loses 2 to 2.5 hours overnight, rendering the silent alarm useless (a very important feature for me).
I am going to try setting it up on a different device next before seeking a means to have it either repaired or replaced.
