Ionic Reset

So my Ionic, when I try to access it, it tells me to UNLOCK WITH MY PHONE.  When I go to my phone it tells me to unlock with the number on the ionic display, but there is no number on the display.

can I just do a hardware factory reset without having to access the OS of the watch to do this?   Ive tried the whole "Press the left button and the lower right button for 10 seconds..." but I cannot figure out how to reset the watch.

its basically useless to me now and I just want to reset it, set it back up and start fresh.

Your unlock with the phone message occurs when the user inputs the pin incorrectly to many times.

When the user opens the Fitbit app ans goes to the device,  the Fitbit app asks the user to input the unlock code for their phone.  This is to confirm that the user is authorized to use the phone.

You want to input the phone's unlock code.

Yes a factory rest will remove the lock and disable the wallet.

If you can swipe to settings,  about  factory reset.

Not knowing when you receive this unlock with phone message,  you may not be able to do this through settings.

This is explained on the Lock FAQ and add long ad the tracker was not removed from your Fitbit account,  it will work.

If the tracker was removed from your app and Fitbit account,  then it is to laue to unlock with the leawood and we will need to do the hardware version of the factory reset. Let me know and I will search fot the instructions.

If there is a hardware way to actually do a reset, I would be interested.  I cant get into the thing.

Something aside from "hold all three buttons until the logo appears, release the bottom one, then hold the other two until it vibrates."  Because that doesnt do anything at all.

On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
