My Fitbit Ionic screen has lines through it that will not go away. It started with one line through the middle and the problem has gotten worse with more lines. I have attached some pictures to illustrate the problem. I have tried restarting and resetting but nothing seems to work. I take great care of it and don't bump it on things that could damage it. Is this a common issue and how do you fix it?

Since you say neither a restart nor a reset fixes it, time to contact Customer Support.

Exactly same happens with me a few days ago, started with one line, then got a little worse, now green lines all over the screen moving downwards!
It’s not even that I bumped it somewhere, the first line appeared while I was sleeping, and every time it gets worse is just suddenly when I’m not even exercising!
Really dissappointed with fitbit, should’ve used some good material, paid a lot of money for this!

Thank you so so much! The customer care sent me an email and after inquiring about the matter, they have sent me a replacement! The best part is that my wasrenty had just expired a few days ago, still I’ve been given a replacement!
I hope the new watch goes without problems, but I have to say that the customer care was amazingly fast, very helpful and very rapidly solved the case.
Loved the response!

My Fitbit recently had the same problem and now it is unresponsive and seems like it does not want to charge. The lines all over the screen and you can barely even read what it says.

@anewthompson It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community.
I regret to hear that your Ionic doesn't work properly.
If you haven't done it already, please perform a restart to your watch by following these steps.
Whether this doesn't work, you can perform a factory reset by following the next steps but keep in mind that your apps, stored data, personal information, credit and debit cards, and saved settings will be deleted from the device:
Please don't hesitate to contact us back at any time.

My Fitbit Ionic just started to show a white line right down the middle of the screen. I did a factory reset and it did not go away. I am afraid it is going to get worse as others have experienced. Please advise as to how to resolve this issue
