I have had my Ionic now for 1 year and 1 month, so i'm out of warranty with Argos and they are refusing to help. I have read through the forum and tried the different methods of resetting my device - sadly no luck.
I have tried the two fingers reset, one on left button and one on bottom right button until the fitbit logo appears and disappears.
I have also tried the other method, the factory reset method of one finger on left button and one on top right and one on bottom right, taking my finger off when the logo appears and then removing both fingers after feeling the vibration - on the three times I have tried that, I have had to start from scratch and install everything as though it was brand new.
I have even tried different clock faces to see if that would sort out the problem, again, to no avail. I've even tried removing all of my apps and just having a 'naked' install with no customisation whatsoever.
I am, quite frankly, annoyed, you don't expect to pay over £200 for a product for it to go like this one month after the warranty runs out.
So, good people on this forum, I am begging for help and assistance in how to resolve this.

I have had the same issues with a fitbit Ionic ( on my 3rd one) and a fitbit charge 2. I don't get mine wet except when I sweat, and the device ends up with a flickering screen and basically unusable.
The simple answer I'm afraid, is the Apple watch. They are replacing this third Ionic, and after this one goes bad (last one lasted 3 months) I will throw them all out and go to the apple watch.
