Ionic Sleep time

Ionic Adidas edition:  My sleep time is being tracked with my Ionic and available on my Samsung Note 8.  However, it is showing sleep time split over 2 days.  So if I go to bed at 10pm and sleep until 5am, it shows 10-1am for 3 hours of sleep and then 1:30-5am.  But it does not combine these always into a single sleep time.  Also, some times it shows 10pm-2am and does not track the 2:20-5am if I woke during the night.  Is there an issue with sleep time on this watch?

Your Fitbit automatically goes into Sleep Mode if it senses little to no activity for a certain amount of time.  Were you up and active at all during the night?

I have the same issue but no fixes from Fitbit either.

Hey there @Crazybob, it's nice to see you around the forums! Woman Very Happy

Make sure that you're getting a solid heart rate reading , since sleep stages requires consistent HR. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight. Also, double check that your watch is charged up.

Additionally, I'd recommend checking the following that could be preventing you from receiving sleep stages:

  • If you used the "Begin Sleep Now" option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed).
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.

For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern.

Time asleep is calculated by subtracting your time awake or restless from the overall tracked time. For example, if you slept 8 hours, but woke up 2 times for 15 minutes each, the time asleep will show 7 hr 30 min.

For more information about your time asleep in sleep stages, see What should I know about sleep stages?

Give this a shot and let us know the outcome!
