So having read over the previous threads I have to ask are you still looking for the longer term solution? And what constitutes as longer term as this issue seems to have arisen at least 2 years ago.
My ionic is less than a week old and has so far failed to live up to the hype, and based on this latest issue will likely be heading back to the shop... but the issue is thus.
After 4 days, my Ionic stopped syncing with my Samsung Galaxy S10+, and I have tried the following steps
Restart Ionic - reset bluetooth - connection failed
Remove device - restart ionic - reset bluetooth - connection failed
Restart phone - restart ionic - reset bluetooth connection failed
Remove fitbit app and reinstall - reset phone - restart ionic - reset bluetooth - connection failed
I have now got the connection restored but it required a factory reset of my Ionic device and then setting up the device from scratch which is an hour long process, loses the apps/music/clockface i had downloaded...
Seeing as it can't connect to the bluetooth headphones (without switching what arm I wear it on, pmsl by the way on that "solution" by the way) I cant help but wonder if there is any quality testing or if you have adopted the Microsoft OS mindset...

7 hours later and it won't sync again...
