Hi.
Unfortunatley I bought a Fitbit Ionic yesterday, and immediately experienced the “syncing” issues. Ive tried to follow all the steps listed on the forums - repeatedly - and still am not syncing.
Is there any solid, fool proof solution for this, or should I look at returning and purchasing another device?

Is the Device you are trying to sync to on the Approved List of Devices?

Zurückbringen.
Schlechter Service ... Keine Lösung vom Support.
Das aktuelle Update ist nicht ausgereift.

Hi, apologies for not including the specifics. My phone is a iPhone 8, which is on the list - I also had a Fitbit blaze until yesterday!

HERE is the Official Fitbit help article on syncing. If you already referred to that, all I can say is keep trying. Bowing while looking left and shaking head up and down might help but I can't make any promises. Seriously, syncing can be a real pain at times. I have had to try as many as 6 times on any particular day and the next day all is OK with one try.
One possible problem that may not be mentioned in the help article is make absolutely certain there is no other device within 30-40 feet that has its Bluetooth turned on. Fitbit will get confused and not sync with either under those circumstances.
