So, the app reports that a heartrate measurement was taken at 5:20 p.m. but it's only 5:07 p.m. . Am I missing something here?

If you live where Daylight Savings Time started today, it is possible there are some time quirks today.  They should get straightened out soon (tomorrow).

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
