Crazy but about 50k extra steps logged on my Ionic. Had to restart watch then it stopped.  No other stats were affected but earned a badge I didn't earn! Can this be fixed?

I get the same thing when riding my motorcycle. In a 1/2 hour, I can rack up 1000 steps and up to 45 floors.

There is no easy fix for this yet. I keep hoping they will have a fix soon.

@lynnesevores Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you experienced while driving. 

 

It is possible for your Fitbit device to track steps when driving in bumpy roads. However, there is a way to erase them by manually logging an activity as driving. Please check this post for details on how to do this. @ACG 

 

Regarding the badges, customer support can help you out with that. Can you please tell me which badges you earned erroneously?
