Fitbit Ionic shutdown yesterday whilst having sufficient charge. Unresponsive to reset, or any button press. No response to charging, syncing or connecting to a machine. The device is only 7 months old, shocking!
Connections are clean and charger is in excellent condition. Tried everything i can think of. Any ideas??
After the recent Dashboard stuff-up am very concerned doing the firmware update as I no longer trust that Fitbit developers have our best interest in mind when doing these supposed upgrades (Totally stuffed up downgrade to the app).
I still have an iPhone 5s so I am unable to run the new ISO as 13 in not supported for older phones, I feel with Fitbit latest track record on upgrades this could could be the end of my Versa and app working.
Wow, I had same thing this morning. And Support's answer was, we'll give you a 25% discount on a new one.
Best AnswerSame thing happened to mine and it was outside of the warranty window so all they would give me is a discount. Very disappointed as it was working just fine before the update.
Best AnswerSame thing happened to mine it was stored for five months and when I returned Home it was working just fine until the update at which point it died one month outside of the warranty window. I will never purchase another fitbit nor will o recommend them to my clients. And Dear FitBit, As a gym owner and personal trainer you can count on losing at least 100 customers and that’s just from the fitbits we would give out during our weight loss challenges three times a year. I will voice my opinion anywhere and everywhere. I am taking this very personally and will not stop until fitbit either pays for the way they are handling all this or everyone switched to Apple Watch or any of the other excellent trackers on the market that don’t die after an update.
