Ionic Update - Disabled GPS tracking feature

I have 2 ionics. I just updated them to the newest firmware (APP27.70.7.14 BSL27.1.15) and now the GPS no longer connects. It says "searching" and never connects to anything. I contacted support and they just want to have me return my Ionic and send me a new one. I have a strong feeling this will do nothing since this same issue happened with BOTH of my ionics.

 

Is anyone else having this issue? 

Have you figured out a way to fix it?

Can I somehow revert back to the older firmware in the meantime?

I got the same error as you.After update  GPS continue searching. I had tried to reset, unpair, remove device but nothing work. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I also tried all of the troubleshooting with no success.
