Ionic Warranty Replacement

I just received my SECOND warranty replacement Ionic after the first one they sent me stopped working after 2 days. I encountered what seems to be the norm happening right now where my original Ionic just stopped working. The second one was set-up, ran with me on a 5k, then when I got home, the screen began flashing the Fitbit logo and wouldn't stop, slowly morphing into a screen of random pixels.

I wasn't sure if I was getting a refurbished Ionic, but was incredibly disappointed when my first warranty replacement died almost immediately, seeming like it was refurbished, but not actually fixed. Well my second replacement came today to replace the first defective replacement.... and it's obviously refurbished. How do I know? There is still skin gunk in the charging port on the back, along with scratched.

I'm not sure if I received a "crappier" replacement this time since it's the second one they sent me (obviously through no fault of my own), but as a loyal fitbit user who has purchased multiple products, bought them as gifts for others, and consistently recommended them to others, my Ionic experience has been underwhelming to say the least.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here except take this replacement that obviously hasn't been sanitized and be happy about it until this one dies and they tell me too bad since I'm out of my warranty? I don't feel like expecting a $250 watch to last more than a year is asking that much. You haven't even released a second version of the Ionic, or turned on all the features yet, and it hasn't lasted until that point?

What do I do with this?

Here are photos of the skin gunk and scratches. Honestly the scratches don't bother me as much as the fact that you sent me an Ionic with someone else's skin gunk in the port? I understand you are sending refurbished products, although I'm bummed that the first one wasn't actually repaired before you sent it- BUT, this doesn't seem like it could have been properly cleaned and repaired/whatever is done to them before sent to someone else.

So again- am I just out of luck and should clean it well on my side and hope it was better repaired this time? I'm so frustrated right now, which I'm sure you can understand.

My Son is on his second replacement and his warranty is good until May 2020.  2 replacements after this long.  I believe that this watch across the board may be a ticking time bomb.  our first replacement was a brand new watch.  If it's under warranty I believe they are supposed to replace with new equipment or fix your existing one.  Because it cost too much to have you ship it to them they probably just send new devices.  I would contact Fitbit and request they replace the used replacement.  however I did see that they just updated their warranty in Sept so maybe that was to cut costs on all the issues with ionic.  I will say that my experience on the phone with FitBit has been pleasant and they have offered to warranty replace the watch both time.  I am just not happy that their product has not delivered as good of an experience as their support personnel.
