if it is truly dead, @Drsesto, you need to contact Fitbit Support so that they can help get you a replacement. Or, of course, you could get a refund within the 45-day window, and keep your Apple watch.

Just get the refund if this experience is so traumatic for you, and just get over it! Pull it together! **ahem**, how do you get by on a day to day basis?

I'm still wondering what @Drsesto definition of "dead" is?
I've read many posts saying my Fitbit is dead and doesn't do anything, all I see is www.fitbit.com/setup which is exactly what they should be seeing until the tracker is setup?

Mine died today as well. No display and no response to on button or reset combinations. Charging via different charger made no difference.
I've had the Ionic since day 1 of release. It was charging when I left it and I came back it was dead Jim.
Support had been contacted.
