Ionic Will Not Alert Or Notify

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

This is a replacement Ionic purchased directly from FitBit at a mediocre discount because the one being replaced was defective and quit working before even two years time passed.  My FitBit is paired with my iPhone SE.  It will only send notifications from my phone after I reset the Ionic.  I have to reset it at least a dozen times a day.  It will alert, then eventually stop, and then I have to reset it again.  It's not yet a month old.

It's simply unconscionable that a product that costs this much money can only be relied on to malfunction consistently. I want this issue either remedied PERMANENTLY or I want a full refund.  The choice is yours FitBit.

It's great to see you around @DSGDSG. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your Ionic. Since, you mentioned your notifications work only when you restart your watch, I would like you to try the tips mentioned in this article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.

If you continue to experience the same issue, let me know and I can create a case on your behalf with our Support team.

None of that works.  My notifications stop working after a couple hours and will only start again when I restart my FitBit.  $250 for a product that doesn't at all work as advertised and is almost guaranteed to stop working altogether within two years.
