Ionic Will Not Turn On After Shutdown

This morning I noticed that my Fitbit Ionic tracker was not updating while walking. I was at 90% so I decided to shut it down. Upon pressing the power button for 15 to 20 seconds, nothing happen. There were no Green lights.

The last time this happened, I had to wait until the battery was drained at roughly 0%, then placed on the charger and it started to work again. This is my 2nd Fitbit Ionic. The 1st did not turn back on and now this happen to the 2nd one. Not only once, Twice, but three times. Yes it seems that this issue started with the new  update.

Please advise? I don't want to keep replacing Fitbits which happens to experience the same issues day in, day out.
