Ionic Won't Boot Up

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Ionic does charge. Does not get past the boot up sequence past the FitBit logo on the screen. Just seems froze at this point.

Tried several times over several days. Still no progressing past this point.

Love the Ionic bit for the price, if this can not be resolved probably won't replace it with another Ionic.

I take it you have tried restarting it several times? If not, try that. If that doesnt fix it try a factory reset. If that doesnt fix it contact Support (link in my signature) Let us know how you go

Restart your tracker

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Thank you for the reply.

I did as you have instructed. My Ionic now is doing something new, but still is not booting up.

I am holding all three buttons for 12 seconds and releasing the bottom button on right. I continue to hold the top right and left button until the unit vibrates (something that I hadn't done before).

The unit it goes dark for a longer duration, as though it is going through a factory reset. The FitBit logo comes on the screen. After about 9 seconds, the logo disappears as though it is going to the next step, screen goes black for 2 seconds and the the FitBit logo reappears. It then continues on this loop, 9 seconds on 2 seconds off until I try the entire procedure again.

Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same issue with my Fitbit and I have let it completely drain and then tried charging it for a few hours with no success. I have also tried restarting and factory resetting it a few times with no success. Any help?
